I agree. It's so hard to keep your feelings on the inside when your loved ones are eating themselves into so many unhealthy conditions. I have two nurses in my family that consider anything against conventional medical wisdom hogwash. And a sister on her thirties who has had rheumatoid arthritis since she was a teenager. I've bought her book after book and also offered to pay her if she'll follow a diet. I think I'm finally making a breakthrough, but the ONLY way she's started listening is because I look and feel so good. Until somebody hits the worst (after much medical expenses and many doctors to boot), with no other (medical) alternatives (I did!), they'll never listen.
Thanks for commiserating with me! Coming here keeps me from going crazy!
