In Response To: Why is it so hard? (Michelle)
Hi -
Another thought . . .
Ever notice how if you have a secret everyone wants to know what it is. IF you don't tell them right away they really want to know. If you still don't tell them - THEY HAVE TO KNOW - JUST HAVE TO. Well, maybe.
I know what you mean - I want to share this with everybody who will listen but mostly I get funny looks - sometimes to my face and sometimes I can feel the funny looks when I turn around.
So, now, I just wait until someone says - geez you look great are you losing weight? I say - thank you yes I am. Then if they say how I will tell them but if they don't ask - I don't offer cause I feel that they aren't open for the information yet. But they usually will ask in the future. And when they do, I tell them with as much enthusiam and love as I feel. And then it really hits home for them.
Well, just a thought.
:)Jan
