Too skinny for this program

Bad news. I've gone on the type 'o' diet and have lost seven pounds. That's BAD news, because I'm a male of slight build who's already underweight. I'm 5'10 and only 138 pounds as I write this. I weighed 145 before starting the diet. I exercise by weight lifting regularly (1hr 3x/wk) and can't afford to get any weaker. I get No sympathy from people whov'e tried to lose weight for years ;-) Simply eating more would mean eating non-stop. I now eat every two hours. What should I do? Eat wheat and slow down the system?
