In Response To: any b's with success stories? (CHRISTA)

Hi, I have had great success with weight loss following ER4YT and I am willing to share my story. I am 37 years old and a blood type B. I am 5' 2" and in July I weighted 148 pounds. Before marriage and kids I weighed 118 pounds. I was very depressed. I had tried counting calories and exercising more, but none of that ever worked. I was trying to follow a low-fat diet by substituting low-fat foods into my diet wherever possible. However, when I cut back on calories I would lose maybe 1 pound in a week or two and it did not seem worth the effort.

My sister introduced me to the book ER4YT and at first I was very resistant because it sounded pretty strange. However, after I read the book, I was convinced. The diet made perfect logical sense to me. One thing that really struck me is that corn is the #1 bad thing to make B's gain weight. I also realized that all those low-fat substitutes I was using contained corn! According to ER4YT, I was sabotaging my dieting efforts without even realizing it.

So in the beginning of August I started following ER4YT "cold turkey". I rid my pantry of things I could no longer eat according to ER4YT or fed them to my husband, who didn't really care or need to care about dieting. I tried to follow the ER4YT foods as close to 100% as possible. I also cut back on calories although my exercise level stayed the same. In the first week I lost three pounds; the following week I lost two pounds, and proceeded to lose about two pounds a week for two months, trailing off to one pound a week until I lost a total of 23 pounds. I now weigh about 125 pounds. I would still like to lose at least ten more, but the holidays came up as well as moving from Dallas to Denver, so I decided my goal was to maintain during this period. We will be moving into our new house in Superior, CO in the beginning of February. My plan is to watch my calories again and lose the remaining weight.

I have been able to maintain my weight easily on ER4YT without feeling deprived in any way. I also know I can lose the remaining weight because on days that I eat less, I can see my weight dip down.

As a side effect, my sinus drainage started to clear up the first month on ER4YT, I can reach the high notes, in singing, that I had lost. That is a wonderful feeling again.

So give this diet (way of life, actually) a try and see what it can do for you.

Good Luck, Cindy
