I have made ginger tea for years by grating the fresh ginger root into the pot, adding water and boiling it all together until everything smells ginger. The "tea" should be a soft brown colour. Strain into a cup, add some freshly squeezed lemon juice and a spoon of honey - yummm! I haven't used it for nausea, but it's wonderful when I have a cold or the flu and am all choked up.
