I pulled out my notebook of printouts from this site and it goes like this: The teas and tinctures are fine, but the freeze dried form is superior, as it will yield the highest amounts of fucose.
Doses: Teas: 1-4 cups daily
Tinctures: 15-20 drops twice daily
Freeze dried: 1-2 capsules twice daily
Make sure it is Fucus vesiculosis! (In another post he also said it works best if taken AWAY FROM FOOD.
While searching for this I found some other type O helpful info I thought I might repost for the new people.
Dry skin: 3-5 capsules of "Black Current Seed Oil" (treat from the inside)
Block wheat germ lectin after a bad meal: N-acetyl glucosamine can sometimes help. Take 1-2 caps after a particularly bad meal.
Hair loss: Biotin (8mg daily) and folic acid (400mcg daily) sometimes helps women with hair loss.
We had a lot of excellent posts in the archives in 1997. Lots of good info from Ed Reich also. Check them out if you have time....you'll enjoy.
Have a GREAT day !!! Gail
