No, the Zone is not about combining foods. It's about balancing your carbohydrates, protiens and fats in a way that's right for you (40%-30%-30% is a guideline, not a rule.) Please read the book by Dr. Barry Sears or check out his website. There's also a new mailing list for those doing both Zone and ER4YT that will help you (www.onelist.com, subscribe to Sears/D'Adamo list)
