Yes again! The information in Elena's post is right on. If you want a really clear explanation of this link between sugar and mood/emotion read the book "Potatoes Not Prozac" by Kathleen DesMaisons. (I've mentioned it before, here so excuse the repetition.) It is easy to comprehend and really helped me stay away from the sugar because I had such a clear understanding of how it affects me. It also helped me understand exactly why (chemical reaction in the brain) staying away from sugar (including dense carbs like bread and pasta) keeps the cravings at bay. Try it!
