In Response To: Help - Vegetarian O POS needs ideas (Leslie)

I was a 12 year vegan and have not felt better in my life than on this plan. If you are not willing to hear some people's stories and read the testimonies of those of us whose lives this way of eating has turned around ... then you won't get many responses. It is most difficult, if not impossible for an O NOT to eat meat and feel better. There are SO many people here on the boards that were extremely sick vegetarian O's it isn't even funny. In fact, it may be the most common thread here. I suggest you do as I did and READ, read, read...go to the archives, go to the Q&A to the Doc. Go to the frequently asked questions, etc. etc. etc. Just read all you can on the subject THEN tell us you still won't eat meat, we'll help you to survive on what you will. But I don't think you'll feel better until you gain all the knowledge you can on the subject. Believe me, it took me days to even fathom eating my first bite of steak, but I started feeling MUCH better after just 2 days. Take care and check back in! Good health Michelle
