Here's a link that describes some of the health benefits of sugar. After you read ALL of them, you decide if the amount you are consuming is beneficial or harmful to you.

PS: I personally advocate a diet based on no artificial additives; that is; primarily organic produce, free range (hormone/antibiotic free) meats; and absolutely nothing with artificial flavors, coloring, sweetness, aromas, etc.

PPS: Neutral means that there is no blood type specific reason to make a food an avoid or beneficial. It does not mean that the substance is healthy.
