The Harvard Women's Health Watch newsletter is another publication that appparently doesn't "get it".
From the Jan99 issue:
Forget fad diets. Last year, the bestseller lists were teeming with diet books for paring pounds. While people who faithfully follow diets like those propounded in "Sugar Busters!" or "Eat Right for Your Blood Type" [Sheesh, can't even get the title right!] may have emerged a little lighter, their weight loss was primarily due to consuming fewer calories than they used up, not just to cutting carbohydrates or basing their food choices on their blood antigens.
