I just started a few weeks ago as well. I have not notice much of a weight loss, but I feel so much better. I know as a learn more and read labels more clearly the weight will come off.
As for the coffee, I wasn't addicted to coffee, but diet coke. I would live for a glass. I think it was the most difficult thing for me to stop. The suggestion that the book made was to wean your self off and use green tea as a substitute. That is what I did and it worked. I didn't get the headaches I had the other times I tried to stop.
