The Blood Type Diet Archives Volume 8
Posted By: Susan
I am type A and had always had a little bit of a problem with patches of psoriasis here and there. I suffered a major flare up when I had a bad throat infection and was put on antibiotics. Three days into the antibiotics I broke out all over with psoriasis. (I read this is a common trigger for psoriasis) I had it for a year, was biopsied, given shots but they told me I would never get rid of it. I decided finally to try myself with nutrition. What seemed to really make the difference was taking fish oils, and upping my protein with vitamins. I didn't know about ER4YT then but I suspect a high grain, dairy diet along with the trigger of antibiotics was the major problem. I have no symptoms whatsover currently. I've heard it is related to EFA's, toxins, possibly fungus from grain consumption, perhaps the antibiotics kills off all the good bacteria and allows the offending fungus to grow unchecked.
