For me the cravings stopped when I cut way, way down on carbohydrates--simple sugars for sure, but also grains and fruits. I began eating more fats and more protein, and I find I simply do not crave sweets any more. Unless I start eating that stuff again--and then suddenly those sugars become very, very appealing and seductive!
