The Blood Type Diet Archives Volume 8
Re: I'm a pregnant O+!

Dear Stephanie, wishing you the warmest of good luck! I hope all goes well for you and the baby. You may have missed the books I suggested to Cindy: The Wise Woman Herbal for the Childbearing Year, by Susun Weed/Ash Tree Publishing (Susun Weed is so good, so solid in her caring knowledge of women and our reproductive health); and Healing Yourself during Pregnancy, by Joy Gardner/The Crossing Press. There is a wealth of knowledge in these two books, just be sure to check it out against your ER4YT blood type recommendations - remember, one's meat is another's poison, and all that. As to the problems themselves, my experience is limited. I did have a scary bloody something - not even sure what to call it - pass, early on in my pregnancy (later than you are, though). After it was looked at in a lab, with not very definite results as to what might have caused it, I followed the advice of the midwife I'd consulted (I'd not yet chosen a birth attendant) and got an ultrasound - a thing I am not very happy about, but as I planned a homebirth, it seemed safest to be sure there was no placenta previa, etc. I think, now, most likely it was a large piece of old gunk, perhaps scar tissue or something of that nature, that was being cleared out of the way for the baby. We did have a homebirth, and a good one. She's 8 now, and my life's biggest blessing. Best wishes, sc
