The life work of Dr. Peter D'Adamo is the heart and soul behind the D'Adamo Clinic. A second generation naturopathic doctor, Dr. D'Adamo has been practicing naturopathic medicine for over 20 years. Best known for his research on human blood groups and nutrition, Dr. D'Adamo is also a well-respected researcher in the field of natural products.
Dr. D'Adamo's series of books are NY Times Bestsellers, and have been translated into over 50 languages. He has been named the Most Intriguing Health Author of 1999, and his first book Eat Right 4 Your Type was voted one of the "Ten Most Influential Health Books of All Time" by industry analysts.

Natalie J. Colicci, ND, MIFHI

A graduate of the College of Naturopathic Medicine at the University of
Bridgeport, Natalie is the official staff physician of the D'Adamo Clinic. She graduated in 2003 from the University of New Haven,
West Haven, CT, with her BS in Forensic Science and a minor in Chemistry.
Natalie was first introduced to the BTD back in 1997, when her mother-in-law
was reading Eat Right For Your Type. "I remember thinking to myself, 'now
there is an interesting concept', little did I know that 9 years later I
would get an opportunity to learn from the mastermind himself." Natalie has
completed a 100 hour preceptorship at the clinic over a duration of 6
months, with additional exposure to the BTD while completing an additional
131 hours of externship with Peter D'Adamo, ND. She is an IfHI Master (certified 2007) and is licensed as a clinical nutritionist by the State of Connecticut.

Barbara Shola
A more recent addition to the clinic staff is Barbara, our new front desk manager. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Art Therapy from Albertus Magnus College as well as a Connecticut license in mental health counseling. We believe that her background in administration and counseling will be a great asset to the clinic and our patients.
