We're talking anxiety attacks that feel like you're having a heart attack, migraines, shoulders always tight, constant pain in the liver, sudden weight gain...what does a person do?
Two years ago I had all these symptoms. Once I was able to diagnose what the issue was the anxiety attacks disappeared. Just knowing what was happening I was able to relax.
Ever so slowly things have been going back to normal. This past Sunday we had tornadoes in the area and it must have caused tension because I haven't been able to hardly move the last two days but it's been a while since it was that bad.
My biggest issue now is my weight. I know I have a severe progesterone deficiency. I was using NOW but it didn't work. I'm switching to another brand from beeyoutiful.com, we'll see. I've also been taking chaste tree also known as vitex.
Any suggestions?

I like Emerita Progest. I use it starting the 7th day of my cycle until the 28th day. I was using it starting 14th day, but results weren't that great. I need 21 days instead of just 14. It really helps along with ashwaghanda.

Reishi and Cordyceps & Royal Jelly and largest amounts of Vit. C and Mg. might be one of the options...wish you quickest recovery! :D

Thanks. Kinda have done most of this already. I probably just need more time. Everything I've read said that it takes a couple of years to heal from a stage three adrenal fatigue.
I am doing so much better. Can actually process and make decisions now. It's just this weight thing is about to kill me!

One of the things I wasn't aware of until a practitioner made me aware of it, is that when we have had an extreme bout of fatigue - especially of long duration, we may need some D-Ribose to re-energize at a cellular level, but may need to start with miniscule amounts initially to not overload the elimination system...  Rebuilding from this low point may take a LONG time of slow, bumpy progress.  

Keep at it and stay upbeat!

I used Emerita Progest when I was in my 40-50's, and found it helpful.
I have dealt with adrenal issues over the years.  I have read that often the thyroid is affected.
So you might need support for that.

Leanne...take care about *belief-systems and thoughts and inputs given from others...*  I made the experience that normally it take not more then 6 months for true recovery in all types !!!..... ;D ;) :D(whistle) but here Royal Jelly is one of  the main factor & Cordyceps ...

Yes, I do know that the thyroid gets messed up during this process. I think if it wasn't for BTD I'd be having to buy all new clothes. At least I'm only pushing on the seams.

hypophyes-thyroide-adrenal-axis... the well known stress response with hormonal imbalances ;) :D....

so this explains better why an article I read said in some Thyroid cases (ones that fit under the hypophyes-thyroide-adrenal-axis you have to fix the adrenals first then work on the Thyroid.

I would recommend caution in self diagnosing any hormonal imbalances.  Make sure you have tests done to confirm these things, as I am sure you are doing.  Messing with your hormones can cause many problems . . . but you already know this!

The body never forgets on insult be it in real time, or remembered from long ago.   The mind only knows what you well it, it does not know truth from fiction...

I would as any one with anxiety... what did you swallow yesterday?  Not only in food... not as important... but in people or situations that are making life uncertain, putting you in a holding pattern, constantly aware that terror lurkes around the corner.  Relationships, jobs friends and family all can make this condition a constant - holding all your body parts in order-.. Stress all day long and night do not make it easier.  

MY remedy for anxiety is... First always KNOW that this to will pass... repeat that all day long... learn to trust that it so,, hang a picture on the fridge on the wall any place to remind you.. This will pass...

IN actuality is learned behavior of which you may not be aware of at all going as far back as when you where expected... previous lives... old life moments.

Sit with your eyes closed and just ask your Brain what it was that created the tension... 10 seconds later the various moments will be told to you...


And then you can change the outcome from then... to now, as the ADULT you are now, fully able to re-analyze what happened, and fully realizing that you can now protect your body and soul and heal your mind and body.

Learning this is not easy, some stuff the early stuff is buried very deep, trying to protect you, but new words, situations, smells, tone of voice all trigger the memories and anxiety can happen.

You already know that this is so, as you experienced it during the storms... yet where relatively quiet, sensible and comprehending...

As a young child that 'protection' often was needed, yet there comes a time when it no longer is good for you and you ... need to re-evaluate and reconsider, and let it go by the side of the road...

Time will heal, if you work on these issues... and always ask:  what did I swallow?? A simple question but hard to ‘readjust’ work on it...  

once the tension can leave you stand naturally and free even for just a second, you will heal your adrenals.... almost instantly... Good luck...

Sometimes, panic attacks are caused by sleep apnea. There is a funny story in my family about me and a man talking to me about installing a new heating/cooling system in our house. At the time, I had only recently been diagnosed with sleep apnea that was giving me fits in the form of panic attacks. The installer knew that I was in pretty bad shape - in fact, I was having a panic attack right then, and the poor man started having one while he was talking to me! I strongly encouraged him to have the test before he had a heart attack. Well, he put it off and a few weeks later did indeed have a heart attack. He was later diagnosed with sleep apnea. He is doing fine now.

I  recently have had 4 episodes that I suddenly feel as if I need way more air.. while lying down, doing nothing.. just random like..

I totally agree about tth possibility of sleep aphnea, or other depravations of oxygen.. Today you can buy a Oximeter for less than 30 dollars.clip on the finger any time.  It pays to have one and then use it to follow all sort of times , while active or not , and keep notes for some considerations and doctors visits.  By reassuring that the heart is not jumping out of ones chest, one can more easy keep saying: This will pass, this will pass.

One exercise I learned the other day, is to have me open my elbows behind me and breath in deeply at the same time, REALLy filling my lungs with air.. all the way down.  It was actually interesting to experience this fully, my oxygen is generally low, but I also never breath 'that' depply... worth the consideration... and creates peace of mind, you can get it from measuring the oxygen and pulse in REAL time.. and most of the time see it be normal....

all aspects of life must be in balance before glands/hormones stabalise.
so, lifestyle, exercise, stress levels, past life events which haven't been dealt with properly, proper food (esp the vegetables) preferrably cooked at home with kindness/love/gratitude.
And avoiding toxic people, environments which stress out the glands.
oh, and avoiding things which O people are very sensitive to, alcohol, high fructose fruit, most sweeteners (esp if you are GT 'Hunter'), soy products, lactose, and probably gluten, processed foods. this is just a few things.
sunlight, fresh air helps me lot, with some stretching, deep breathing exercises, every day.

Lin, you're right and also yeppers to get tested first just before beginning of any treatments ;) :D....
I'm also convinced coz of the very toughy resemblances... that hypoglycemia and menopausal symptoms are often confonded with adrenal fatigue... even very often.... :-/ :P therefore the pilzli's (mushrooms) are also beautiful helpers....(smarty)(dance)(ok)

The adrenals control 50-60 hormones. When the body is under stress they create Cortisol. If stress is continuous over a long period eventually it runs out, so to speak. The adrenals will begin to rob from other sources in order to create cortisol. One of the first signs of adrenal fatigue is going to be sugar issues, tiredness, hormonal imbalances, etc. To treat these problems is really only treating the symptoms. You need to check your adrenals or liver as the source and correct the problem. Once functioning properly your sugar, hormones, tiredness or whatever will straighten out on their own.

You sound like you have knowledge/experience with adrenals.  I didn't realise it controlled so many hormones.  So the adrenals/liver are perhaps the route for many issues.
Do you have any good reading resources you can refer me to?

There's a ton of information out there. And so far nothing I've read interferes with BTD/GTD.
Books by Dr. Hulda Clark are very informative about the liver. This is her main concentration along with getting rid of parasites.
For adrenal function I've had to go to the Web.

Just read your link re; hypoglycemia and adrenals
I thought I might be experiencing hypoglycemia as sometimes in the morning when I get up, before I eat or drink anything, my stomach feel so empty and I almost feel nausea. If I grab my teaspoonful of peanut butter or almond butter it goes away.
That article didn't mention my experience in the list of symptoms.  ??)

Perhaps something high fat and protein before you go to bed?
And not sure this would help you but it's worth a try...
Himalayan sea salt is an excellent source for minerals. Taking some first thing in the morning gives your adrenals a boost without having to work hard. As soon as you open your eyes the brain calls on the adrenals to create Cortisol to help you wake up. If your adrenals are fatigued it's hard on them to wake up AND try to keep your blood sugar levels where they belong.
Popping a piece of salt under your tongue and drinking a glass of water is like jump starting a low battery. They are electrolytes. Keep this right next to your bed and do before getting out of bed.
Anyhow, just a thought.

I can relate to your comment about sometimes in a.m. "stomach feels so empty ", makes me desperate to get up and get a drink and/or food.
Would be interesting to note what we have eaten the night before when this happens.
I like Leanne's suggestion on Himalayan sea salt.
