Has any Type A here been treated by Dr D with low thyroid? Were you told to eliminate Kale, Peanuts, Almonds? Traditional sites all say to avoid these. Thanks for any leads.

Hi Lola - long time no see indeed.

She has been on the A diet for 10 years, my question is about Kale, Peanut, Almonds. She eats tons of kale and lots of peanuts. I called Peter's office, but of course you can't get him on the phone anymore. How times have changed. Thanks for your reply.

it is not about what you take away, but about what you add to her diet that counts

a food log is in order

OMG, Tom!!! Really nice to "see" you here again.  It's been such a long time.  Are you still doing auto detailing?

Food, supplements won't reach cells, unless metabolism is working well, and body is cleansed/detoxed;  then proceed to good probiotic, keep up exercise, and work with high nutrient foods, incl some raw juicing, smoothies, raw nuts/seeds.  Wholefoods get the system working well, especially if system is slow/sluggish.
Metabolism often drops in people over 50 (even earlier in some people), which means both assimilation/digestion and elimination can slow down and be inefficient.
What we eat also needs to be assimilated into the cells.
