Leaky Gut, is this more of a Type O problem?
I was told I have leaky gut via blood analysis (live & dry).
Any thoughts?

Cut out the high avoid lectin foods for Type A and eat Beneficial foods to heal the intestinal lining.  Also, it would be great to take some Polyflora A to rebuild the proper beneficial bacteria balance...

Along with Polyflora, Intrinsia has been a great help to a lot of people.  It's one of my favorite formulas.

Not sure, but I'd say any blood type could have leaky gut. Home-made stock/broth from bones is crucial due to the amino acids, fats, minerals to help cells in the lining of the gut.  Soups/broth - very easy to digest, soothing to intestinal wall.
I am putting in raw egg yokes, as am following a program to heal the gut properly and to sort out nutritional deficiencies, it takes time.
The right type of supplements should help, as many act as co-factors in the body. It also can mean taking out some foods which inflame the system or don't digest well, this varies from person to person.  If in doubt, a professional person with knowledge of leaky gut, might be worth consulting, but at the end of the day, no-one will know your system / body better than you.
Rest & quality sleep also helps restore balance, aids healing.

I am Blood type A-non secretor: I would say that continuing to follow Dr.D'Adamo's blood type diet and taking the proper supplements will help. Eliminating stress is so important. I found this information and hope it may help.
"The main way to deal with Leaky Gut Syndrome is through nutrition. It is important to get the body back to optimum health and avoid the foods or toxins that are causing allergic reactions, so that the damaged villi in the intestine have a chance to heal and so that your liver has the time and energy to detoxify your body. There is no wonder drug to cure a leaky gut. Dealing with Leaky Gut Syndrome is about dealing with the causes of the condition as opposed to symptom care. "
What You Should Avoid

•Avoid foods that cause the allergies for 4-6 months (under supervision of a qualified practitioner.)
•Avoid sugar, alcohol, vinegar, too much fruit, bread and anything else that allows Candida Albicans to proliferate.
•Cut out packaged, processed and convenience foods which are jam packed full of additives, flavour enhancers, high levels of sugar and salt, hydrogenated fats and other harmful ingredients.
•Avoid dairy products which feed the yeast.
•Avoid fermented products which feed the yeast.
•Avoid caffeine it is at best a temporary stimulant and it can result in early fatigue, hypoglycemia excess insulin production, artery deterioration, potentially birth defects. [1]
•Avoid fizzy drinks which alter the pH balance in the stomach and contain additives and artificial sweeteners linked to various health problems including hyperactivity and depression.
•Avoid dried or canned fruits, which are said to worsen candida infection.
•Avoid products containing gluten.
Wishing you well- Margie
