Has anyone had any experience with their swami not working? or with their lr4yt being more affective than swami results?

just curious over here.

No.  My SWAMI is more helpful than any of the book diets; ER4YT, LR4YT, the Genotype Diet...

I love my SWAMI.  It has been more effective for me than either the BTD or the GTD.

Secretor status is important.  ;)

Brenna we would need more information. Yes some have said the same thing.

What Genotype are you? What settings did you put?

Maybe you need to remeasure?

What do you mean by not working?  ??)

What foods are you eating?

I am MOSTLY a combination of explorer and nomad with some traits here and there of others

well it says I can eat chicken if I'm not having problems, but I honestly think I felt much better when I didn't eat it at all

and I do believe i'm a secretor

My swami is better than BTD and GTD.  For sure.

A point of concern...  Chicken is one of the worst lectin containing foods for Type B.  Chicken and corn are the two foods that I just don't eat due to the problems I have when I eat them.

Brenna might have chicken as a neutral.  In that case, still beware.  I have most of the wheat products as neutrals and feel better when I don't eat them.

some chicken even affects my daughter badly and she is BT O. (listed as neutral for her)

Is chicken "neutral" or "black dot" on your SWAMI. There is often a lot of confusion about the "black dot" foods. The instructions in SWAMI make it sound like you should avoid those foods for a few months, and then treat them as neutral afterwards. Few people find that to be very effective.

I've tried some of my "black dot" foods individually. In general, I'm OK eating them once or twice a year, but if I have too much at once, or eat them too often, symptoms return. I can't have two "black dot" foods together, or the same one too often. Essentially, they're "avoid" foods, but I can have them for a VERY occasional treat.

The one exception is cinnamon. That I'm able to eat regularly without problems.

If you've  been treating your "black dot" foods as neutrals, and eating them freely, then it makes sense that SWAMI hasn't been working well for you. You need to emphasize the beneficial foods and include as many neutrals as needed to feel satisfied and prevent boredom with your diet. The avoids should not be eaten at all, and the "black dot"  foods should only be eaten with extreme caution.

Good point ruthie but I think it depends on the food.  I have pecans as a black dot and eat them regularly and I don't think they're bad for me.  But chicken for a B....  it's just probably not a good idea.  I could be wrong though.

Avoids are just that to me, so I agree with Ruthie. SWAMI has been the best of all for me in many different ways. Some things I cannot eat that it recommends for me, but that is just something I can work out for myself. Otherwise, this program is like having a personal body/food compatibility evaluator sitting on my kitchen counter! What more could I ask?(smile)

thanx. lost all my login details to swami but I found my latest swami results and chicken is a black dot. don't know how I forgot that. just like some other bs, the high protein and low fat diet gives me bad energy. woah it makes me sooooo tired.

so I'm gonna go back and get stricter with my diet. thanx
