Tonights menu: hamburgers done on the charcoal grill (friends don't let friends grill with gas), kale cooked with sautéed onions and olive oil and apple cider vinegar, quinoa cooked with veal stock(store bought Kitchen basics) and onion. Who else is eating their greens for new years eve luck?

I had great northern bean curry for lunch, with baby kale cooked in it.

My greens this evening were in smoothies (Kale and Dandelion).  I am not sure that counts. Also had some greens in a salad.

We eat our largest meal at lunch.  It was a huge pile of romaine lettuce, drained canned great northern beans, cut up avocado, dried cranberries and feta cheese all tossed with lots of lime juice and a little EVOO.

For supper we had fresh asparagus "sauteed" in organic chicken broth and then topped with one egg for each of us toward the end of cooking, then drizzled with grape seed oil and fresh lemon juice.  (I cheated with a small pile of Beanito black bean and rice chips for "dessert")

Tomorrow I'm planning to make "home fries" made from onions, turnips and parsnips & no nitrate turkey bacon for late breakfast and then okra gumbo for a later meal.  

Still trying to figure out how to get SIX cups of veggies into our old bodies in one day!  We simply can't hold that much.

div. bell peppers & onions & garlic & green peas cooked in lemon olive oil ;) :D...and a load up with lamb ......and a little salad....(woot)(hehe)

we had black bean, veggie soup, with some leftover stew meat, not much mostly flavor around 3:30pm  Got back from work had a whole can of spinach, myself, Ken ate some leftovers. we had carbs for breakfast. (cream rice cereal) So I'm good to for tonight.

Well, MD - I got sidetracked today when I baked my favorite whole-grain-sprouted-spelt Cuban bread - 2 loaves in my French bread pans.

It is physically, mentally and emotionally impossible to take two gorgeous loaves of fresh bread with extra crispy crust and oh-so-tender middle out of the oven and not eat (at least part of) them!  

So, instead of making the gumbo we had the fresh, warm bread dipped in EVOO with sip right tea on the side.   SOOOOOOOO wonderful.  Then I sliced the other 1 1/2 loaves and packaged them in nice double wrap and put all in the freezer:  "Get thee behind me, Satan!"  

So tonight's meal was pinto beans and Swiss chard, to complete the part protein in the bread.

HOWEVER - Tomorrow we WILL, Will, will have the okra!!!!!!   (woot)

Sliced mango, banana, raspberries, puffed rice cereal, almond milk, Tbs. gelatin, Tbs. frozen pineapple concentrate, squeeze of vegetable glycerin. (I wanted something sweet for dinner as I had lamb and greens for breakfast).

Vegetable soup stock with stir fry mix and KALE leaves and a dash of seasoning yesterday for a good winter broth  ;D Pom-apple sparkling juice for the "abundance" factor.

Tonight goat liver dredged in: spelt flour, chile powder, onion powder, salt, red pepper flakes and fried in butter then all natural worchestshire sauce and more flour added to make gravy. Yeah spelt is a black dot but I don't use it that much.

YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I want some, only using some flour other than spelt, ideally.  That recipe sounds delicious.   :D

Actually found some WILD CAUGHT grouper in the frozen fish section of Kroger today!  So for supper we had pecan encrusted grouper fried in ghee, whole asparagus spears, romaine lettuce salad topped with feta cheese.  ALL DIAMONDS FOR ME except the feta and it is a beneficial.

What a delicious meal it was!

We just finished eating baked turkey breasts(sliced into strips and seasoned with garlic and lemon infused olive oil with lemon pepper, sea salt and sage). We also had steamed brown rice mixed with wild rice and a dusting of turmeric and butter, and baby peas with sea salt and ghee. Now I am enjoying a hot cup of green ginger tea.
