Oh my gosh!  I was comparing my husbands Swami to mine (we are both Hunters), and I didn't find many differences except these sea veggies are benies for me and AVOIDS for my husband!!!    :-/

Kelp, Kombu, Nori, Bladderwrack

Gosh darn it!!! I use the Kombu in all the soups I make for us and we've both been taking Dr. D's Bladderwrack supp.

This is really shocking!  I wonder what would cause those to be avoids for him?  Any thoughts on this?  I know it must be a family disease box that he checked on his Swami perimeters.   ??)

Does your husband have something checked that indicates a possibility of developing hyperthyroidism?

Perhaps:

Do you have a history of thyroid problems?

or

Do you have a family history of thyroid/ endocrine disease?

See if his SWAMI recommends the bladderwrack supplement or not. Sometimes the supplements are OK even if the individual foods are not, as the supplements may be different varieties of herb than the typical foods, and/or there may be a harmonic healing effect with other ingredients in the formula. I remember asking DPN about proberry syrup, since it contains pear juice, a "black dot" on my SWAMI. They said it was fine.

I'd stop using kombu in shared soups, but find a way to add to just your portion. I buy granulated kelp which I can easily add to my bowl of soup, or a smoothie, or an omelette.
