Today I found the new Eat Right 4 Your Type Type B cookbook in the bookstore. These are worth checking out. The sweet potato muffins will be an appetizer with coffee for our extended family reunion/Thanksgiving lunch. I wanted to do the cherry scones also but cooking time will be limited that morning. There are several other things that I might like to try in it at another time.

Thanks, gcg. I posted about a month or so ago, to the effect that I wished I could see recipes from this.

I've tended to read mainstream cookbooks by those whose taste I like and of cuisines I like, and then just adapted the ones I've used. For us Bs, that's usually not too hard. (And certain cuisines are particularly amenable to that, such as Indian  :) .)

So you're a baker, eh?  :D
Do let us know if you find any recipes therein that are over-the-top terrific...

PS. There are so few of us type Bs, and the subset of our population that buys cookbooks is far smaller, and the subset of those Bs who buy cookbooks AND know our bloodtypes is far, far smaller in the US. And of that tiny group the subset who are familiar with the work of D'Adamo is yet smaller.
There, within that little circle of folks, I find even I myself not necessarily ordering the book, as I'm unfamiliar with the overall work of the author, or, after 17 years' familiarity with Type B cooking,  sensing my need of it. From a marketing standpoint, I'd think this little book will have to ride on a success of the O and A books to justify publication cost.

As for the little AB book...!
But nice that someone has invested even in us minorities.  ;)

I have all 4 cookbooks

These will most certainly be my xmas presents for my friends and family!

Good thing I have all 4 BTs

My mom s sister A, married a B

so that makes a few AB cousins, as well as Bs and As ;D

Well it is a BTD type cookbook though at least it says which are NS suitable. The sweet potato muffins will require using spelt which is not on the Nomad list. As to being a baker my repertoire is mainly cheesecakes, pies, butternut squash cookies, and Brighid45's carrot cake(see recipe base). I started making these things so that my diabetic B Dad could have something during our extended families pot lucks. I don't bake just for my self. Everybody loves my New Orleans style cheesecake(see recipe base again) which is a modification of emerill's recipe. I won't be posting detailed descriptions of the recipe's from this book, that would be violating copyright laws on the writer's own website.

My A brother, BTW, married a B, but the yield was an O and an A....
No AB  -or even B-  tots for that A+B couple. So: Lucky you.

Interestingly, the A dad and kid are both happy pescatarian/vegetarians, irrespective of Dr. D'Adamo, and the B and O need their animal foods... I'm always delighted to see people finding their level, intuiting what works for them...

gcg: No worries - I certainly wasn't asking you to violate copyright; just wondering if anything in there is worth knowing about.
Anyway, one can certainly describe a dish and its ingredients without revealing measurements, for instance, and no one can find fault with that - in fact it's flattering to its creator.  :)

The pics are worth the value..

I got the O book and love the pics.. makes the (today) visual work so much easier..

I had also bought another that just sows nice food prep and simple meals.. I think the two will make a fab combo, I might even cook one of the dishes..  hahaha
