That subject is my zaney way of trying to be funny.

I was just wondering what you fine folks are cooking this week /weekend? Its about time I plan my next big thing.

It is holiday week here so we have cake; spelt/butter based pear tart
tonigh mixed green salad and a mushroom bake ;D

Tomorrow some kind of turkey breast -maybe butternut
fries and mayo + greens

Tonight:

Turkey and white bean soup
Butternut squash
Spinach salad(with Tofu, broccoli, cauliflower, soybeans, black beans, cucumber)


Weekend:

Probably some Indian dishes

tonight just some purple rice with some kale, navy beans, and sharp cheddar cheese added. I have a little bit on an intestinal bug right now and maybe this will stay within.

I'm cooking a london broil in the crockpot for thur. or fri....(or both!) It'll be done as a kind of "ropa vieja" with some amazing mole' poblano sauce that I tasted (a demo) at WF and bought. So what should go with It? Maybe rice and some stirfried veggies. Or a salad.

Tonight:  large salad with romaine, carrots, radishes, cucumber, dressing made with EVOO/garlic/lemon juice, herbs.....Mahi mahi, grilled and finished with a butter/lemon sauce, rice
pasta sauteed with broccoli, onions, white button mushrooms.  DH had tomatoes on his salad but
no radishes.  His pasta contained a tomato sauce with eggplant, peas and onions...His fish was grilled but finished in a tomato sauce.  We are different genotypes which often requires many small adjustments.

I ate a freshly picked apple from local apple orchard.  DH had green tea and a handful of organic grapes.

Dinner was four artichokes and a sandwich of arugula lettuce and avocado on sprouted barley bread.

I made a soup with celery root and leeks topped with chopped chives and pear slices.

It was quite good.

Roast veggies (with sprinkle of pecorino makes mine genoharmonic) & steamed greens to go with grilled sword fish in lime zest with garlic ghee for we A's & grilled lamb backstrap with rosemary & garlic ghee for O hubby.

Great ideas everyone!

Chloe, I like that dressing, it sounds like something I can have. Also I didnt know people used DH on this board (:. I always use it, but trying to spell it out these days.

Do any of you all have information on how much of the nutrients cook out if you make veggie/fruit soup and drink all the broth? My wii man isnt loving the broth anymore.
