Which is a better option for a Teacher?  Phytocal A or the Multimineral?  I have both bottles and
I tend to rotate, given the ingredients aren't the same in each formula.  But I'm asking because I'm
not following the BTD but my SWAMI and just to get some complimentary balanced minerals, I like taking a few pills per day given I'm liberally spraying myself every morning with magnesium oil.  And I take Vitamin D independently. So always thinking I'm missing some necessary minerals, regardless of how I'm eating.

Was the Multimineral designed to make it easier for families of different blood groups to share
one formula?

I'm ready to order minerals as I'm low on both bottles.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

And then the women's pack formula contains just Clearcal.  Under what circumstances would any female
wish to avoid all other minerals and just take calcium?

I have never been able to make sense of these options.

Multimineral was designed for the GenoType diet. One pill for all GenoTypes.

Phytocal is designed for each blood type specifically.

For me taking only calcium is a mistake, which would be obvious in a week or so.

So, are you saying that if I'm following my SWAMI I am better off taking the multimineral formula?

Still wondering why the women's 3 pack gives a woman just plain calcium without minerals.

Victoria, you once mentioned you take the calcium....does this mean you're taking one of the
formulas with calcium or the Clearcal singularly?

Still confused about this.  The type A mineral seems more specific....contains some HCL which
would help digest protein....and of course, an O wouldn't find this to be beneficial, so it's absent
from the multimineral formula....

I'm thinking when formulating one mineral for 6 genotypes and trying to find a common denominator of different minerals, it would make sense to me that the only minerals we'd all get would be the ones that work for all 6 genotypes.  And minerals would be left out that could be detrimental for any one type or more. ??)  So that makes the multimineral formula seem very general and not as specific as Phytocal A.

And then, who would want or need Clearcal?

I presumed clearcal was to be taken in conjunction with a multimineral by women that needed extra calcium. I think that is lactating and post menopausal woman worried about osteoporosis.

I do not think clearcal replaces a multimineral.



I used to take some of the multimineral and some of Phytocal (sometimes half dose of each, sometimes multimineral on some days and phytocal on others.

Currently my preference for myself is to do Phytocal only.

Phytocal is lower in D, but I take extra D anyway.
Phytocal does not contain copper. I think that I have an excess of copper so do not want to take anymore.
Phytocal contains selenium which I think I need.

Thanks, you helped me make my decision to buy more Phytocal A.  I take extra D too...
and I too feel I could use selenium plus the HCL...I've also been taking one formula one day and going back
and forth, but now down to the end of both bottles so, Phytocal A it is!  :)

Another factor people may want to consider is the phytocal products are formulated to be used with polyvite.

The multimineral products is formulated to be used with Exakta.

If someone is using using polyvite or exakta they may want to use the mineral product that is designed to work together with it.

Chloe, I know the subject is closed, but, I was just wondering what your swami recommends?  Mine recommends Phytocal.

The answer is complicated. SWAMIc lists Phytocal A with 3 stars which isn't all that important.
It lists the Teacher supplements with 5 stars.  I also have a professional SWAMI from the shift and
Dr. D which is a totally different entity.  That's the diet I follow...but It doesn't actually list supplements....those change each time I go back and see the shift..  So although minerals haven't been the focus of my supplements, I now feel I'm deficient in basic minerals and I think THE most personalized minerals I could be taking would be those for my blood type.  And just taking Phytocal A 3x a day (1 pill each) while liberally saturating my body in magnesium oil every morning, my muscles feel a lot better than before I added Phytocal.  It's only been a week that I'm doing this.....and I felt a big difference pretty quickly. So Phytocal A feels like it's been the missing link
