Just curious. As I am building new receipe's I wonder what others like me are eating, and if it follows the plan.

Any easy meals. I am doing the vegetarian thing right now.

I usually do very simple meals...  And rarely vegetarian...

My usual is to utilize some vegetable and meat / fish with some rice, quinoa, or legumes.  For the vegetables / meat - I choose a beneficial vegetable like broccoli, green beans, brussels sprouts - then put either a meat or fish on top of it with some spicing and steam to perfection.

We also brown ground turkey, with garlic and cumin, mix in some mostly mashed pinto (for AB) beans, then top with different items per taste...  I use chopped onion, sour cream, cilantro, chopped lettuce, cheese, etc...

Oh - so I am thinking Vegetarian's can have eggs and fish. Correct me if I am wrong.

I am allowing fish and eggs, just no meat.

Thanks Lola, your always so thoughtful and helpful.

Joe I am eating fish. Until 2 weeks ago I would have small portions of turkey, usually turkey burgers or turkey bacon, though I think the bacon/sausage options were advised we avoid because of the A in AB. Do you eat those types of meat? I buy hormone free brands. That sounds like a good mixture for the ground turkey. Is everyone at home AB?

Amazone, Did you do the secretor test? I have the genotype kit. I am thinking the paper in it is something I will be able to taste, because we did something like that in college and I can taste everything on those papers from the lab. Is that the same thing?

There are a couple of good brands of turkey bacon, etc., but we don't use them.  We use only whole turkey without the saline injection or ground turkey - almost always has natural flavors, but discussion with company says "it is spices like rosemary." My A daughter is very sensitive to additives, so she rejects "junk" very quickly.

How do you tell if it has saline injections? I have not heard of that. My A 17 year old daughter also has a sensitive stomach. It made her really sick a couple years back. I think she will eventually be on board with this blood type stuff, or at least better about it.
