I am new here and am a Type A-.  If anyone has an answer to any of my  4 questions, I would be so grateful to hear your thoughts.

1.  Can I use Braggs Apple cider vinegar with the 'mother'. (vinegar according to the diet is a no no)

2. Would Romano grated cheese be allowable?  (sheeps milk)

3. Homemade sauerkraut, non- processed,  (consumed in a raw uncooked state)

4. Red Wine vinegar

All of these organic, of course....thanks again pamma

Vinegars are avoid for type A's, as is  :'(
As far as Romano cheese goes... foods that are not listed are considered neutral  :)

Thanks for your time, and the link.   I'm trying to move about here,  to check the postings.   It is so amazing.  I did find one describing the use of lime, lemon, and grapefruit. (and fermented plums!)

Cider vinegar has a separate listing from regular vinegar. Sadly, it's still an avoid for As. (Bs and some Os can have it though.)

As you follow the ER plan and your body gets cleaned out you will find your own level of tolerance for a lot of things.  We are each unique.  

I use sheep's milk romano cheese and have no problems.  I also use goat cheese and also Mt. Vikos brand combined sheep milk and goat milk feta which is absolutely delicious.

Vinegar of any kind:  No.  
Lemon juice is my most preferred substitute for vinegar.  It took me a while of being on the ER plan to figure out how much fresh lemon juice to substitute for the vinegar in all of my recipes, but I much prefer the cleaner and fresher taste of the fresh lemon juice!  

I also use goat milk yogurt.  Cow milk products of any kind give me really bad sinus problems, so I don't use ANY cow milk products at all, even the ones that are listed as neutral for me.  

I've followed the ER diet successfully for over 5 1/2 years now and can finally eat some things that used to really bother me before I started on ER.  Some things, like broccoli, I will never be able to digest.  

For some people, the regular ER plan is not enough and they really need to take the next steps toward the full SWAMI individualized plan.
