I just tried to enter a simple and delicious recipe for walnut butter and after two attempts following all of the instructions, it comes up blank at the end!?

I've successfully posted recipes in the past.

Any known problems with the system?

Not that I am aware of.

Any particular browser (Firefox 22, Chrome 29, IE 11, ...)

Operating System (Windows 8, Mac OS X 10.8, Ubuntu Linux 13.04, ...)

That I should test?

I'm not real computer techy, C.  I just know I attempted to add this recipe on the same computer as before.  Nothing has changed.  Everything looked normal all through the process of adding the ingredients, instructions, etc.  It just didn't pick up the info and translate any of it into the finished form.  No recipe information was retained after I hit the 'Add recipe' button.

I just added a recipe.

http://www.dadamo.com/typebase4/recipedepictor7x.cgi?1511

(Complete with spelling error that needs to be fixed when it is edited)

I had no problems using Windows 7 and Chrome 29.

There is a problem between Firefox and the recipe system.  I know it is not possible to edit recipes using Firefox.  I'm not sure about adding them.

This depends on what version of Firefox people choose to run.

Some versions of Firefox cannot be used for adding recipes.

The recipe site should detect the incompatible releases and give users a message that they should use a different browser or install a different release of firefox.

Message displayed to firefox users when adding a recipe:

Quoted Text

Recipe has detected that you are running Firefox.

Although our site is optimized for the Firefox browser, these current versions of Firefox contain a bug that causes stalling on page load and difficulty scrolling.

Form to add recipes is not displayed. So a user should not be able to enter a recipe and then not be able to commit recipe.

I can edit with current releases of Firefox. I just edited a recipe with 24.0 on Windows 7. I have not tested this extensively. It appears to work on Mac & Linux as well.

I'll have to update, but on Firefox Ver. 23.0.1, Windows 7; the Typebase ingredient list only shows through Bass, then the table stops.  Makes it impossible to continue adding ingredients for rating...

Using your link I successfully posted it under the title of "Butter".

The 2 x's I tried unsuccessfully I went through the Cook Book option at the bottom of my SWAMI.  Your link, while asking all of the same questions, looked different.  Who knows, but glad you helped me.  Thanks.
