Since the remedy that helped Martha can only be found at Dr. D's dispensary, it would be great if it could be offered through NAP!

I have found complete relief from a bad case of poison ivy by rubbing hard into the blisters a handful of FRESH jewelweed.  The stuff Dr. D. got in a store certainly wasn't the fresh plant.  Wonderful to note that jewelweed usually grows right along side or very close to poison ivy.

For bug/spider/bee stings, etc. run to your lawn or nearest weed patch and rub your bite/sting with the juice of the VERY common plantain.  It grows practically everywhere.  It can be the lance shaped leaves or the English plantain that has the shorter, rounder leaves.  Bruise the leaves to obtain the juice.  You can do this even by chomping on them with your teeth.  This juice removed the pain in a few minutes and the swelling in less than 24 hours of a bee sting.  And in regard to mosquito and other 'bites', its juice must neutralize whatever makes it itch because within a minute you'll forget you have an itch.  You may have to reapply the next day for mosquitoe bites.

It is important to rub the leaves of the plant into the bite, sting, or poison blisters breaking the skin so that the medicine can enter.  RELIEF!

I agree!  But in the meantime, there is this:
http://www.herb-pharm.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=106

This is an Oregon company, but many natural food stores throughout the country carry their products and/or will order individual items that they don't carry.  Or you can order online.

:D Hi Andrea,  thank you for sharing this.  Even if I didn’t fully understand  ;D , I still like to read your posts.

In my country we use this plant in the link below when jellyfish or the bugs bite.  This plant is almost always on the beach all over. Consider it God’s natural medicine.

We use it the same way Enobattar mentioned but I think the plant is different.
