I have been supping with gingko for a little over a month with 1 120 mg. capsule daily in the am.  I find it helps me.

Not sure if gingko is recommended for A's or explorers, but it has to be helpful for A's in managing cortisol levels.

After reading the article, I think I may buy some gingko soon. I've had a lot going on recently and the activities will not be slowing down any time soon since we will be moving again next month (local this time).

I've had adrenal problems all my life and I've been noticing it again recently; not good before a move! Quercetin is my favorite regular supplement, but the gingko may give me necessary energy through the next couple of months.

Thanks for the article Easy E, otherwise I wouldn't have had any idea.

Good luck with trying gingko.  I really find it is helpful to me and seems to be just what i needed.  Good for blood circulation, stress, recovery, and the brain.  I have had ADHD type issues i dealt with my entire life and many herbs i have tried did not work out very well, like st. johns wort, ginseng, etc.

My order of gingko is arriving tomorrow. I'm wondering how long I should expect it to take effect as it isn't uncommon for herbs to need time to build up before becoming effective?

I could feel it working some after a few days but it can take a good few weeks to really start working fully.  They do build up.  I took one 120 mg one in the morning and one in the evening the first week and then started using one in the am only.

I wonder if it would be ok for O's?.  I think it may thin blood so not sure if it would be ok or not?.

Yes, my bottle that arrived late yesterday recommended 1 120mg. capsule once a day, but if you said you took a second one each day for the first week I just may try that. I'm still feeling like my adrenals and "whooped" due to some of the physical tension I've been feeling lately.

Mickey, I don't know if gingko causes blood to thin, but I remember Dr. D saying somewhere that nonnies generally have better blood clotting factors than secretors, so the gingko's benefits would probably outweigh the risks.

After reading reviews on ashwahganda, I think I"ll give it a try after my supply of gingko runs out. Then I will compare and see which works better. Thanks for the recommendation.

Ginkgo does things to the cardio system that Ashwahganda does not I believe. D'Adamo uses or recommends both, for different things.

I just ordered some Attentia from NAP.  It has Ashwaganda, Eleuthero, Ginko & grape seed.

I ordered Attentia quite a while ago for my son who is also a B- nonnnie, but I never used it myself. I'll keep that one in mind if I want to try something different in the future.

By the way, I can tell the gingko is working quite well now. I've been feeling physically more relaxed in spite of the busyness, and my quality of sleep has been much better and I"m appetite is back to normal.
