Blackcurrant seed oil is a diamond for me.  Since i can't find it in an actual oil i got the capsules.  Does anyone know how i would convert the caps to my oil portion size?.

Thanks!
I can't answer that question.  But when I was taking the capsules, I just took one with each meal.

You did not state the size of your capsule or your oil portion size.

Assuming 500mg capsules and 1 teaspoon oil portion size: you need approximately 9 capsules.

Assuming 1000mg capsules and 1 tablespoon oil portion size you would need approximately 14 capsules.

C_Sharp,

I am taking one 500 mg cap a day, my weekly portion amount is 6 tbsp. a week.  So if i went by your calculations if i took one a day then i would be using about 2/3 of a tbsp. for the week if i understand correctly.

Thanks!
Mickey
I never counted supplemental oils in my "oil portions for the week."

6 capsules (500 mg) would equal about 2/3 of a teaspoon or 2/9ths of a tablespoon.
C_Sharp,

Oops, i meant tsp.!  I think like Ruthie suggests i'll just not count them since it is such a small amount.  ;)
Ruthie,

Your probably right, since i know alot of people probably take fish oil.  I just wasn't sure whether we were supposed to consider them into the portion amounts or not.

Thanks!  ;)
I never counted them as an oil portion either.
