One of my main colleagues has been diagnosed with Stage 3 type B pulmonary adenocarcinoma.  She does have type A blood, which from what I've read is more prone to cancer because of its similar shape to type A and AB blood cells.  I'm nervous for her because they are just now catching it and it's fairly far gone.  She will be started chemo soon.

I was wondering if she should continue to follow her SWAMI diet or follow the Cancer book by Dr. D?  We have changed her SWAMI to reflect that she has been diagnosed with cancer.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The absolute best thing for her would be to see Dr D or another naturopath in person, and have the naturopath work with her oncologist to figure out the ideal medicine/supplement combination. Some supplements can be used in place of some meds, while other supplements can be used alongside meds to reduce side effects, and some supplements will interfere with the medicine's workings, so the supplement shouldn't be taken until the drug isn't being used anymore.

As far as her diet is concerned, SWAMI with "cancer" checked is going to be the best bet. She may even want to un-check some other health conditions that are less pressing, so that SWAMI will focus on the cancer situation right now. That's going to be way more personalized than the food list in the published book.

If she's unable to work with a naturopath directly, she should talk to her oncologist (or another member of her medical team) about any supplements she's taking to make sure they're all safe to take with her medications.

but in the meantime, have her follow her swami exclusively

make sure you let swami compute her genotype again when running it a second time

has she done a secretor test yet....the more personalized info she can input, the better

A propos very positive outlook, also have her listen to Prof. Dan Burke's brilliant lecture on Salvestrols, in 7 short parts in youtube, to enlighten a few basic facts and allow her to connect to the bottom of the healing process.

Might want to take a look at the Cancer book and see if you can gain any information to add to her protocol.

Blood Type A's and AB's are not more prone to cancer.

They just have a harder time fighting it. As you mentioned it's because the structure of the T cells look very similar to the structure of Blood Types A and AB.

In his cancer lecture Dr. D'Adamo lists foods and herbs to help fight cancer.

I have made a list of those foods from the TypeBase 4 and his lecture.

Thank you all for the sage advice!
My friend is working with a naturopathic oncologist which I think is a super bonus!  Working with Dr. D would be nice, but Hawaii is a bit far and the commute would be a tad expensive.  She starts chemotherapy tomorrow and has been trying to prepare her body for the shock.

She does know her secretor status, which is that she is a NON-Secretor.

She is also doing the mushroom thing!  You guys are totally on it!

I will look into all the links you have provided, thank you so much!

Thank you Tom for clearing up that type A's and AB's are not more prone to cancer, but have a more difficult time fighting it off.

You guys are great!  I welcome any and all other information in regard to the subject of cancers.

Please also have her follow Dr. D's relevant Health Protocol.

It is here in this website in the Online Support above:

Over time there where other posts with things that are supposed to be really good for cancer prevention... one of them is some asparagus every day...

I also would get Trehalose Complex, it will keep her mood elevated and clear up junk quicker than any other thing - tastes good in lemon juice and water= lemonade- hot or cold drink.

Good luck and then

also make a list of Diamond foods and further compress effectiveness by rotating even more specific foods as also which are also listed in the cancer book.

Getting up early in the morning, real early, doing meditations to think of peace and acceptance and elimination of 'cancer'.   Thinking is important.  The body knows truth, but the mind only knows what you tell it.  Telling 'it' to help eliminate the cancer sells via the mind is much more effective as would be negatively and fear.

'Resolving' a 'situation' that happened seven years ago - in my book- would be of utmost importance.

Maybe finding a hypnotist would be a good idea, as would be a look at your planetary destiny... understanding more about the less known Universal forces helps not be afraid, look at stellarwisdom on the net for more info.

Finding a counselor is important, or..... at the very least, take a egg timer and set it for one, two or three minutes, to uninterruptedly by anyone, just talking about anything of what is going on, on  the inside, - no topic is off more or less importance, all expressions and feelings are to be validated.  The egg timer signals the end of any session of healing talk.--  Finding a Re-evaluation Co=counselor would be great as they are trained in this type of emotional cleansing offering support and emotional safe space!

And if no other counseling is affordable, go to AA meetings or any other 'Anonymous' meetings while 'adopting' the lessons to the emotional needs of the day.

Doing physical anus cleanses/rinses/enemas takes energy and strength, but is especially valuable to eliminate stuff out of the insides, not waiting until the next day of 'elimination'.

Cooking vegetable broth in a slow cooker (cooking all the vitamins and minerals into the water- and discarding the vegetables when all used up) _ might give easy accessible food value while sick feeling and can be added to live vegetable Juices or as base liquid to cook other foods- getting two for one food value.

Good luck..

Goldie - Thank you for your words and all of your advice!  My friend definitely has her mind set in a good space.  She's also very much into "alternative" forms of healing, in addition to doing western styles of medicine.

It's been over a week since her first chemo and so far so good, I really hope it stays that way.  Great suggestion about the broth!  Thank you so much!

Sarcoidosis.   I googled it.. intersting look alike to MS and lyme issues....  If I had it I would look to find a practitioner who performs ondamed... look up under: ondamedworld.. for more information.

This would allow much more healing to take place while also making you feel better in the interim.. the good part about it is that it does not require anything other than that you show up. No effort, no side effects and you should find it nearby. Good luck getting better...

Did you see the big lymme thread here.. you might look for it..   A thread to discuss lyme disease*  for many suggestions..
