any suggestion on Caprylic acid as far as brand name or quality. Being an O I checked Dr. D's protocol for yeast/fungi and caprylic acid was on there, but it's makeup is coconut. Isn't coconut
bad for O's? I am confused on the protocol list,if Dr' D does not have this as a product should I ignore it from the protocol list?

might be like soy lecithin, where soy lectin is no longer present, making it safe for all

Most of the protocol lists include items that are not sold by DPN.

If a supplement is commonly available from other sources, Dr. D'Adamo does not reinvent the wheel.

The fact that a product is unavailable from DPN, does not indicate the product is undesirable.

Caprylic acid is saturated fatty acid commonly found in milk (including human and cow). It also has other plant sources (palm, for instance). It does not have to be derived from coconut, but it often is.

Since the Yeast/Fungus Protocol for O lists both Intrinsa as well as caprylic acid, I presumed caprylic acid mentioned was in addition to what was in Intrinsa.

BLOOD GROUP O

Genoma EQ (Stinging Nettle Root: Urtica dioica): 1-2 capsules, 2-4 times daily
Fucus Plus (Fucus vesiculosis): 600 mg, 1 capsule, 2-3 times daily
Polyflora O (ABO-specific Probiotic): 2 capsules, twice daily
    Intrinsa: 2 capsules, twice daily
Caprylic acid: 350 mg, 1-2 capsules, twice daily away from food
Clove fruit (Eugenia aromatica): 50 mg, 1 capsule daily
Standardized Chinese Garlic Extract (Allium sativum): 400 mg, 1 capsule, twice daily
