Wellllllll,  :(      I've been seeing a LOT of recipes using coconut flour, milk & meat. I see in the Typebase, they're an avoid for everyone but A nonnies. O's get a double whammy.
Are they good for something besides eating? Cuz apparently, they're not good for that!!  :-/  Much like oranges (lucky B's).

Well some of us have coconut oils as diamond in our swami ;D
( just like oranges are superfood for me  :P)

I must admit that I sometimes use other coconut products
since it is so good to bake with( when one wants to avoid grains) and taste goood  :B
I try to keep it as a minimum- but for me it is a less evil avoid :)

try grated carrot.....makes a good substitute for coconut meal in recipes......add a bit more compliant oil

I usually use almond meal in place of coconut flour in recipes.

I have also used the almond meal/flour in place of coconut flour.
Good idea on the carrots Lola & then that gives me another idear. ;-)  grated parsnips. :-)
I've been using ghee for oil. Is there anything else? LOL
I did see a recipe that called for full fat coconut milk. Sooooo, if one uses, let's say almond milk in it's place, should we add a little ghee to make it "full fat"?

I would use homemade almond milk and use less water so it comes out thicker- more like cream than milk.

Yup. Full fat coconut milk is thicker and creamer than lowfat coconut milk. Extra-thick almond milk is the perfect substitute.

Another method is to use a thinner liquid, but less of it. Way before BTD, when we used to use soy or rice milk in pumpkin pie (because we wanted a dairy-free pie to serve with a meat meal) we'd use 8 ounces of soy or rice milk in place of the 12 ounce can of condensed milk the recipe called for.
