I wouldn't be surprised if supplementing IAP would boost A/AB's into health much quicker. If not even opening up their diet to include a few more things.

I still don't think it would be a good idea for an A or an AB to routinely eat beef, even while supplementing IAP. It reminds me too much of lactose-intolerant individuals eating tons of milk and ice cream while taking lactase tablets. It simply won't promote good health to eat foods your body is not designed to eat.

Ruthie, Type A don't have much stomach acid so it certainly wouldn't promote beef consumption. That doesn't mean it wouldn't potentially create other favors for them. It could very well help them overcome a lot of obesity issues, however.

Those are extremely common foods for A/AB anyhow.

They are talking about treating with much higher levels of IAP.

Then it would be a good thing. I would just hate  for somebody to say "As can't have beef because our IAP is too low, so I'll just take supplemental IAP and eat beef anyway." I'm not suggesting that you would do that, but merely pointing out that others may use the supplements as an excuse to not change their diets. Too many people are looking for "quick fixes" and would rather pop pills than make meaningful changes in their lifestyles.

What if it made beef healthy for Type A? (It wouldn't because of stomach acid) I wouldn't have a problem with people consuming the two together. Maybe Type O would be all jealous then...

isn't that true that question of stomach acidity depends of being driven by sympaticus/parasympaticus ??)... and I think this was it what I've seen lately in a seminar...also here.. it depends of our central nerve system.... and all is manageable..... ;) ;D(smartyp)(cool)often things might be easier then thought.... :D


btw... while getting re-established your own aminoacid patterns of the body... a lot will re-take place on its own;) beautifully also described in MAP *masteraminoacids patter* from Johansson ;).... and a lot of newest trouvailes that european Profs showed up in the earliest 20ties and later... amazing stuffs now are underlined their approaches by researches of todays.... :o ;D(smarty)(clap)(ok)(dance) but I'm nearly persuated they confonded lectins with cytokines ;) :X(dizzy)

Now ruthie, you are a wise person and I agree with you.  Mostly.

But if there is one thing I'm going to harp on it's this issue with red meats and A's and AB's.  Please don't lump us all in the same boat.  Some of us explorer types,  Nomad types we do better if we have red meats.  Yes, beef is just a neutral for me, but even beef seems to give me more vitality than without it.  My cholesterol went down 40 points after eating more red meats, most of it being beef.  A little lamb which is a diamond.  And some venison which is neutral.  But I feel like adding it back in was very wise.  I think it helped boost my immune system.  I have a long way to go, but I feel like this is right.  My lists tell me I should eat these things on swami.  All of us A's and AB's are not the same.  So lumping us all into the "no meat" category really irks me.  I'm not the only one out there like this.  A lot of people with Irish or UK ancestry seem to be explorer like.  At least from my non scientific gathering.  And many being A's. Meat is good for explorers.  The book lists show it.  And us AB's can be Nomads too.  Kind of the same dealeo.  Although if I had to give the Nomad diet in a nutshell, it's VARIETY.  Including meats.  

I also agree with amazone.  My stomach acids have increased and therefore I feel I can eat meats and digest them better now.  For a long time it felt non existent. But now I get that hungry feeling in my stomach when I need to eat a lot.  Sometimes it's like, OH MAN, thank you God for making me be hungry right now!!!!  
Anyways...  That's what I got to say about that.

The majority of A's and AB's could potentially reverse an incredible amount of their health problems by supplementing IAP for awhile. Hopefully they'd follow D'Adamo's work so they could stop taking IAP and just function normally, after a rapid incline in health.

Nothing like this potential exists for Type O's. It isn't a permanent fix, but I'd be swallowing them down if I could.

Point taken. There are Os who do best without a lot of red meat too.

Glad you mentioned this, JJR. I had forgotten about lamb stew.....I have been sort of down today because of the humongous amount of work I have been doing outside lately. I've tried all my usual remedies to get my get-up-and-go together with not much luck. Sooo, dinner tonight will be LAMB STEW!!! You just made my day! Thanks!

You're welcome.  All that anti inflammatory goodness.  Immune boosting B vitamin infusion just waiting to happen in your body.  Mmmmmmmm......

My son is the perfect example too.  He's an A but he's very explorer like.  Red Hair, light skin, and allergic to every other kind of protein out there.  He's allergic to:

Nuts (terribly)
Soy
Egg whites
Fish (off the charts)

I'm just not willing to feed him a diet of only chicken and turkey, when he is so limited in all of his protein choices.  The IGg tests show no problems with beef.  But I realize it's probably not the best for him.  But displaying explorer like traits and all those allergies, I have no problem letting him eat it.  And beans don't have B12.  So.....  He does well on goat dairy too though.  I would imagine lamb is probably the best choice out of all of them.  But venison has the upside of not being real fatty.

It's funny that you mentioned venison, JJR, because back before the BTD, etc., I would eat venison and marvel at how much better I felt after eating it compared to beef! I almost wonder why I can't have it now.... But I don't have a lot of it in my freezer anymore since the family members who did the hunting don't have time to hunt anymore!

I thoroughly enjoyed my lamb stew this evening!(drool)

Perhaps the low IAP is to protect from something. altering it short term may be fine but long term you might be better getting a blood transfusion ;) or a change in secretor status. :)
