BTD Forums / Eat Right 4 Your Type / Vegetable Glycerin & Raw Blue Agave Calories

I am always trying to use less sweeteners than recommended on the occasions that I bake.
Very surprising to find that 1 tsp. of the glycerine has 22 calories and the agave has only 20.
Now I get the glycerin as a diamond in my SWAMI and the agave as a super beneficials.
But, I believe that the glycerin metabolizes quite differently in the body and that the liver is not affected. Anyone have any thoughts about this? Thanks. :)

I don t count calories......
glycerine has been my sweetener of choice
then comes molasses and right behind comes agave
make sure nothing is added and your sources are pure
I am however needing less and less as I get older....
sometimes I simply forget to add a dab of glycerine in my tea......freedom!!!! ha
