Hi,
I am an explorer and it says almonds and almond butter are avoids but under milk/beverages it say no rice milk ect but does not mention almond milk? does anyone know if almond milk is neutral then or still an avoid? thak you so much in advance.
Is there somewhere to get a more upto date list of foods?

Almond milk is usually mentioned specifically. certainly in Swami it is mentioned under beverages.

It is listed as Milk, Almond.

I just noticed your other post about thyroid issues and coeliac.

Corn is a big avoid for Thyroid. plus you will obviously already be avoiding Wheat of any kind.

It would be easier to help you if you put your blood type etc on your member area. I would assume you are blood type O, but you could be anything.

also have you done a secretor test. that is a vital test for you to do under the circumstances.

as a matter of interest where are you from, age etc. I'm assuming Lisa means you are a girl, but one just never knows ;)

kind regards PC

I assume you are looking at the book.
In the book, the only foods listed are the Superfoods and Avoids.  All others are either either rated Neutral or Neutral due to being untested.  To see if a food is tested, look at the other lists to see if it is listed in another Genotype's lists.  If so, you know it is rated for the diet, which always makes me feel a little better about it, than if it is unrated and I am having to monitor for any problem, etc...

I imagine Joe is referring to the lists in the genotype book for all the genotypes.

the easy way to do it is to buy swami - trust me it's a breeze then . read the book, it's great but swami is the best. save a whole load of time in the long run

I sent you a private message re your info.

You can get swami to default to Explorer Lisa. lots of options on it. "explore" it a bit more ;)

If you desire to over rule SWAMI's calculation of GenoType,
look in section 2: Serotypes and Biomarkers  ---  for GenoType

GenoType:

Set this to explorer
