I have some leftover broccoli heads and thinking of making a soup or something so I won't waste it..
any suggestions that will take away that nasty 'cooked' broccoli taste?
thinking of trying this recipe:

add some beef stock and almond butter to thicken....spice it up your way

You can also add compliant white beans or grain (such as great northern beans or rice) before blending to thicken up the soup.

Ok.. I cooked Ribbit's Recipe and it is delicious. I doubled the recipe and used leftover chicken from a crockpot chicken using the leftover stock to cook the broccoli and onions in and then added some ghee as well.
ouuu ouuu ouuu!!! smells and tastes like a wonderful thanksgiving mash! lol
http://www.dadamo.com/typebase4/recipedepictor7x.cgi?766oh and I only used 2 cups of rice when i doubled it.. i wanted more vegies and chicken and not so much grain.
and I cooked it for 30 min on 250 and then 30 min on 350 since it was a bigger recipe and also wanted it to brown on top!!!!
