Someone said that bananas might make Melatonin or support Seratonin...  Well one or the other might indicate that if one wanted a good night sleep then Melatonin would be better =eating bananas at night.. but if one wanted to feel happy then the Serotonin would be needed in the daytime = eating bananas in the morning..

I have so far no idea which is right, but it did make me wonder if there is more such info around that might really make a difference with what time of day one should eat or drink it?

I read a book years ago that dealt with this kind of thing.  I found it very interesting. Gave lots of examples of how eating something at different times of the day affected these people differently.  I lent it to a friend and never got it back.  Can't remember who or what it was titled.  Bugs me cause I've wanted to reference many times.

Probably the amount of serotonin or melotonin produced in the body after eating one banana would be quite small, so the effect negligable. Eating high magnesium foods before bed like organic almond butter or cocoa (if you're not too sensitive to the stimulanting ingrediants it also contains) seems like a good idea though. I believe some other people on the forum like to do that.
