This may sounds strange, but I am going to put it out there. Does anyone notice less redness in their hands... and skin looks "whiter" when eating according to bloodtype. I am wondering why my skin tone changes when I eat more protein. I wonder if bloodtype has anything to do with the tone of my skin.

When I go to get foundation, I always match up with pale which is good for me. But lately, I noticed that my skin looks darker and I dont like it. It could be that I was not as compliant as before... interesting, right?

I know I have "cool" undertones and was wondering if other people experience this.

Your skin is the largest organ, so diet will definitely affect it.  I know that I had more skin issues when I ate non-compliantly, but I don't do make-up, so don't have any references like that.

Ok, I agree totally. I just see that my skin is clearer when I dont have many carbs.

Makeup is annoying. I like going without it in general:)

from what I see people run cooler on the blood type diet or geno type. although in a few cases they run a lot hot with heavy exercise, an few O's anyway.

I definitely think something is related to body temperature and blood type.

Thanks. I wonder how much it has to do with body fat. I do not sweat alot when I workout, but then again, I am in WI and it si freezing here;)

and ....on a side note: I love being cold. I hate feeling too hot or warm.

For all of my adult life, I was expecting immolation at any moment. Within a year of BTD/GTD, I'm nearly always COLD. Much more tolerable. I'd chalked it up to detox, and considered it just one of many miracle changes that have taken place. It's great to feel normal again.

I've noticed more acne as well as dry/cracking hands when I stray from my diet. I haven't noticed any changes in the underlying skin tone, but then I haven't worn makeup regularly since high school. Back then, I would have one shade for summer (when tanned) and another for winter (when not tanned) but I pretty much did fine with 2 sets of colors, blending carefully when my tan was  fading or first appearing in the fall or spring.

makes sense. I never tan anymore and pretty much avoid the sun.

I also have noticed that my skin is not as dry when I adhere to the recommendations.
