Does anyone here make goose for Christmas?
Tell us where you obtain it, how you prepare it.
Do you make a special ham?
Do you make/serve some special pudding or "buche"?

I haven’t had goose for years. It was at a former in-laws house. I loved it. It’s a black dot for me, but I’d eat it for a special occasion.

Can get goose at Whole Foods. We considered it but since we've never done one we decided to have New York strip roast of beef. Maybe next year...goose.

No goose. I helped Mom make turkey gumbo last night and I have two fresh winter squash pies still baking in the oven. I could probably make about 10 pies with that wintersquash that I grew. I might make some wintersquash/raisen/pecan cookies before I freeze the rest of the squash.

I have a goose in my freezer from my grass fed farm coop. Would love to see some recipes posted here. It is one of the few things I have never cooked - goose or rabbit!
I am hoping to prepare it before my kids leave after the holidays.
