Yes, I finally found out what I am. I am so happy that I am allowed Coconut OIL, but what about Coconut SUGAR? It's not meat, it's the syrupy substance and it's organic, at least the one that I have. Any suggestions? That Coconut sugar costs about $12 for a 4 lb bag

It's interesting that coconut oil, on the BTD, is an avoid for nearly everyone, except for O non-secretors. But with the genotype diet, my Nomad son gets coconut oil as a superfood and when SWAMI changed my genotype from Warrior to Teacher after entering the results of my Meyers-Briggs personality test, coconut oil moved from complete avoid to superfood.

My understanding is this: Teachers and Nomads are tolerant genotypes, making us particularly susceptible to microbial overgrowth. Coconut oil has excellent anti-microbial properties which explains why our genotypes often are allowed coconut oil. Sugars, on the other hand, can easily disturb the gut flora and encourage microbial overgrowth. I don't think honey and agave syrup have those properties, but I would be suspicious about coconut sugar being just as good for you as coconut oil. I hope this makes sense.

Correction: They DO NOT use the syrup of the Coconut at all. It says on the Package that they make their Coconut Sugar from the Flower Buds of the Coconut Tree. This may throw a whole different light on it. :)
