BTD Forums  /  Eat Right 4 Your Type  /  Question about Catalyst and Polyvite A
Posted by: wanthanee, Sunday, October 14, 2012, 6:48am
:D Hello everyone.  I was wondering about Polyvite A (multivitamin formula) which contains Bioflavonoid complex from citrus: Sweet Orange, bitter Oranges, and Lemon.  In my Swami it says I should avoid orange Juice.  Do you think I can still take it?

Also, in my Swami it recommends Specific Formulations of Teacher Genotype 3 pack:
Teacher Activator, Teacher Catalyst, Teacher Synergist.

Panax Ginseng is contained in Catalyst which is in my Swami as my Black Dot. I am confused on this. Can someone please help me?
Lloyd, C-sharp or anyone?  Thank you so much.

: ;D :D

I take polyvite without problems.  This is is true for the vast majority of As.

I would not consume orange juice, but I do fine with products containing citrus peel.

Mayflowers does not do okay with citrus peel as I recall and has problems with the polyvite product as well.

Something containing a "SWAMI avoid" isn't a problem when SWAMI itself recommends the product. So the recommended supplements should be fine for you, unless you have an actual allergy to one or more ingredients.

The ingredients in many DPN products work in synergy, creating a whole with healing properties more powerful than the individual ingredients. This synergy often over-rides the negatives in specific ingredients that give the food an "avoid" status. Also bear in mind portion sizes; the amount of citrus in 2 capsules, or the pear juice in one tablespoon of proberry syrup, is way less than the 1/2 cup or so in one serving of fruit.

Wanthanee,
I am also an A+ secretor and I take polyvite, polyflora, phytocal and proberry caps without any problems at all! ;)
I do not ever drink orange juice or eat oranges. I don't even drink teas with anything orange in them.
I do eat grapefruit and drink lemon water daily and put fresh lemon and lime slices in my water and teas, cold or hot. This helps keep mucous at a minimum.

:D WOW! Thank you so much, you guys.

Alright, Lola,  I will order the following soon:

WOW, money, money, MONEY!  LOL!

;D ;D

Oh! I got you, C-sharp.  The products, “Polyvite A” contains citrus peel.
Actually, I love the smell of citrus peel very much. Every time I make Papaya salad I always put several slices of organic lime in it along with the skin for more flavor. Also, the citrus peel smells like Neroli-Egypt-Organic. l Love it!  Before BTD, I used to put the organic orange peel in my smoothies too.

Ruthiegirl, thank you so much.  Your suggestion was a big help!

Hi Cajun, Thank you so much. In the past I never liked Orange Juice though I wish I did because the color is so beautiful.

:D :)
