What is the best supplement for when you're eating in a restaurant?  You can order compliant foods but they aren't organic, grass-fed or wild.  If all else fails I can always get a salad with a couple slices of lemon ( I can eat salad with salt and lemon) but it won't be organic and lettuce is one of the worst offenders pesticide-wise.

Would proberry/deflect/intrinsa be better or something detoxifying like chlorella tablets?

The other social situation is going to a friend's house and being served pork, dairy or some other deal breaker.  I'm very vocal about my diet and most of my friends know what I can't eat but some can't afford organic and some just forget because there are so many 'rules'.  

In this case, I think proberry/deflect would be best, right?

deflect and gastro D......make it simple


rule number 1

have your compliant dinner before going out anywhere

once there, enjoy the company, talk laugh, do as if you are eating.....move your food around the plate.....no one will notice cause they re all too busy eating.....

and you won t feel deprived, cause you had yourself a succulent compliant meal before leaving


one thing I have learned is to not talk about my food choices, unless asked if truly interested
learn to stop right on time and let the conversation go elsewhere or you ll be 'friendless' in no time!!! ha
few are ready to commit and you do not want to become obnoxious

These two won't work for me.  My previous life revolved around food, I cooked and entertained all the time, and I'm frequently the guest of honor.  If I don't eat, they do notice; and if I tell them not to worry about me, they change the menu until I approve it, as I do for our coeliac friend.  

My friends have been dealing with my MSG issue for years, and take pride when they fix a meal that doesn't give me a migraine, so I can use that to avoid many things, but I need insurance for when they slip up.  

I never force my diet on others or criticize their choices but I make sure they know that I don't eat like I used to.  Our coeliac friend will frequently bring her food with her.  I may start doing that.

BHealthy, thanks for asking this question.  I get a bit overwhelmed by trying to meet not just my own dietary needs, but my own wish to be gracious and appreciative.
  Yesterday a good friend proudly gave me a bag of organic tomatoes from her garden. She knows I don't eat wheat or dairy. But tomatoes are a big avoid for me!
I shared the tomatoes with a co-worker.

I have a significant birthday soon. I think I will gift myself some Deflect.

I use Deflect for this very reason; I can't always control what foods my friends cook for me. They try, but often overlook something big...I don't eat out of my control very often, but when I do, I take 2 Deflect before the meal and 2 Deflect after the meal.
