Okay so was really happy with BTD but then started Warrior diet and it feels like I can't eat anything except for leaves and seeds and was delighted to be informed of my more rapid aging process. So, squash (and just about any other vegetable that adds any kind of bulk to a meal) is apparently evil now and I wanted to know if that's all kinds of squash or if it makes a difference if it's a winter type squash or a summer type squash because it seems like there should be a difference.

You can have pumpkin...

I know what you mean. Warriors aren't suppose to eat. I don't recommend it to anyone.

I'm a type A Warrior and I get all squash as a neutral from my SWAMI. I've ran my SWAMI twice total and the rating didn't change the 2nd time with updated info. I personally find sweet potatoes don't agree with me much even though it is also neutral.

You should take into consideration what serving size you choose at any given meal. A lot of a particular cooked vegetable can make me feel gasey and bloated.

The Warrior diet from the book will not be as personalized as a SWAMI, so you may want to invest in one.

I also get squash as a neutral & am not a nonnie, each type gets such a variety of foods it just takes a bit of getting used to.  I am very happy with my robust tough warrior genes, long lives for health conscious warriors in my family.

I prefer the taste and texture of pumpkin a diamond superfood, so versatile too, why not use it instead?

Steamed cauliflower mashed with a little parmesean cheese is my favourite, visitors have mistaken this for mashed potatoes (when bought up in conversation they thought the texture was different, i am guessing they are non tasters!!!!  ;)

A sprinkle of peccorino or other sharp cheese, a splash of tamari or a pinch of herbamare on top and i would happily eat bowls of my superfoods every meal.  Just have to find the way you enjoy them most - maybe add fresh herbs, stir fried, grated raw in salads, slow cooked soups.....
