Did my improved swami starting last night augmented more towards warrior.wanted fish more than anything but at end of day wound up eating a while pound of fresh salmon and huge sweet potato and a grapefruit. got immediately sleepy during 1st 10 minutes. woke up 8 hrs later struggling to remain 'up" -- wet blanket feeling over my brain, eyesight a bit more blurry than it is, and iron deficiency. took care  of iron deficiency but blinking and wet blanket mind at work did not go away for 6 hours and urine extremely cloudy afterwards (a good thing).

is there a supp to help lessen the groggy blurry  effect of the cleanse ??

I am also wondering if im absorbing amino acids the way i should hence the sudden protein cravings  in humongous servings when i eat. my brain felt so compromised that i wasnt sure what was going on! could think but everything felt "rusty" and slow inside along with the blurry eyesight......not foggy....but "rusty" or "missing somethin important in the brain"

How do you know you had iron deficiency when you woke up? I thought that was more of a chronic issue that is discovered via blood tests and takes at least a few days, if not weeks, before lab tests can show improvement? I'm a little bit confused as to how you think you "woke up with iron deficiency" but then "took care of it" within the day.

Symptoms of iron deficiency (fatigue, etc) can also be from other things, such as detox.

My guess would be that 8 hours of sleep wasn't enough for you last night. Sometimes our bodies need 9, 10, or even 11 hours of sleep during acute healing or detox. This is more likely to happen after periods of sleep deprivation.

A whole pound of salmon sounds like WAY too much for one portion. There are times when our bodies crave ridiculous amounts of food for one reason or another, but you should't be eating this much for dinner all the time. The meal also sounds unbalanced to me- the sweet potato was fine, but where were the greens?

I'm not entirely sure what the cloudy urine means. It might be candida die-off, or too much protein in the urine.

How is sweet potato rated for you Seraffa?  Could this have been a blood sugar issue?

Here's some info about cloudy urine.

Yeah I knew the salmon was waaaaay too much but I was an almost bottomless pit at that point; I couldn't find turkey franks at the store to start portioning my munching on the way home. I have high levels of ghrelin in my system; all inactive, not-totally-healed bulimics do. It regulates the appetite response and accounts for sudden binging on avoids aka toxins aka neurotoxins after which the hypothalamus must be reset time and time again for food response.......(in an active bulimic's disease.)

I know when I have low iron and need an iron pill when I don't feel like I can keep chugging along; it's a different feeling than the "rusty brain wet blanket feeling" and a totally different feel than sleep deprivation. It's kind of a "wasting" feeling urging towards lethargy. I had to keep my feet moving to get to work on time, which I did. sleep deprivation actually makes my body and head ache. I've had none of the sleep deprivation past 2 days.

sweet potato = super-beneficial "blue" (anti inflammation)

If you're going to binge, it's far better to binge on beneficials than on avoids! You'll have far fewer long-term reactions to it.

What kind of iron supplement are you using? I've heard good things about Floradix, but I've never used it myself. I've never needed to.
