Bs:

Do you prefer meat or fish? Fish or poultry? Poultry or red meat?
Do you find yourself eating far more of one than the other? or pretty even across the board? Do you get cravings for one and not the others? Do you de-emphasize any one of these?

Do you often forego the animal fleshes altogether and feel like having cheese, beans or nuts "instead", say at the evening meal? or for a whole day or even two?

What does your Protein preference/intake look like, in general?
Thanks. :)

Variety in general  ;D
( I have some problems with my O who would prefer just chicken, veal and eggs alll the time. ::))

I like red meats better than poultry - it make me more energized and satisfied.
I like poultry over fish ( I don´t have that good sourses to fish and only really like either avoid stuff :B :B or very espensive fish. ::)

I do  have vegetarian days (old habbits are hard to break)- but I am not sure it is good for me :-/ cause it makes me crave sweets a lot  :B :B
In general I would say I eat more vegetarian in summertime -and a bit more meat in winter.

In  a normal week
beef, veal or lamb aprox 3-4 times a week ( my swami says 4x)
turkey 2 x ( 4x)I ought to eat more but find turkey fairly boring and I can´t get wellfare/free range T so it is a compromise to eat it)
beans 1-2 x ( often as lunch)
fish- 1-2 ( 5-6x ??))

eggs for bf or lunch aprox 6-10 eggs in  a week( it depends)( swami says 6- but it is homegrown good protein so :))

aprox 3 times a week I eat a high protein type of organic yoghurt or homemade yoghurt with a bit of kvarg in instead of eggs.

cheese most days  :B

nut ( almonds, pecans, walnuts or macadamianuts - almost every day  aprox 1 oz ( 7 pt x)

For breakfast I eat a protein shake except traveling then eggs.
I eat mozzarella cheese every day.
I have roast beef or yogurt at lunch.
For dinner it is usually either red meat or fish.  Sometimes I have rabbit.
I eat turkey at holidays.  Once in a while I’ll have a turkey leg.
I’ll eat nuts as snacks.
I hate beans.

Variety. I eat turkey often because the local grocer sells unfrozen , cut up turkey and grinds his own burger. I've gotten fond of greek yogurt and I love a good omelette. Our farmers market sells grass fed goat and lamb but it's kinda pricey. I live on the gulf so fresh fish is readily availible. I like using beans as a protein/starch. No objection to beef but what's availible isn't grassfed and is a neutral. Variety as I said.

I favor fish and eggs as my go-to Protein sources. I usually wait until I get an overwhelming craving for red meat to go out and kill it, if you catch my meaning.

I'm reminded of a very funny comedy bit I recently saw. He's talking about fad diets and mentions The Caveman Diet, and all the Meat they ate. He suggests that the reason the cavemen were buff was not because they ate meat but because they chased wild game for days before finally nailing it down. Driving to the supermarket in the 21st century doesn't compare.  :D

Maybe my desire for red meat is sorta like that; when my need for it reaches some sort of threshold / critical mass (and, I assure you, it wouldn't be from hunting!) I land me some lamb or - failing that - quality beef. I tend to just know when I've got to have red meat. Grrrrrrrowl!!!

Not a huge poultry fan. I don't think I ever think, "Wow, I really really could use me some birdmeat right now." Let's say it's, tastewise, a Neutral in my book.

I just have "favorite-of-the-meal" desires...  I move through fish, eggs, vegetable proteins, turkey and beef liver.

I've found that I need a mix of all to be balanced.  If I get too heavy on one source for any length of time, the body will shut off tolerance for that source in favor of the others.
