I followed today's search for Membrane Fluidizer Cocktail and reached the thread "Cognitive Enhancer" of last year where Victoria gave the recipe. Please where did Dr. D write about it? Thanks.

I believe it is in Eat Right in the section for blood type B, but if not it is in Live Right. Check the index.

Can an egg replace the egg-lecithin, until I find some egg-lecithin? Watermelon juice and organic flax seed oil is brilliant, and I love eggs so much.

All types will benefit from this and the lecithin is safe even if  swami/or btd says no soy. All the soy is washed out by the time it gets to the granules.

I am a big advocate of this.

I have seen the good doc give this to just about every patient who graces his door.

It protective effects are wonderful.

This is where I found the article:
http://news.yahoo.com/nutrient-drink-might-boost-memory-early-alzheimers-study-231017483.html

This article was published on July 10, 2012, so it is almost a year old already...

Thanks, ABJoe, I knew it was an older article so that was why I wondered if it was still around.
I couldn't help but wonder if some of those commenting in the article have a single clue about how much money is spent on a yearly basis for supplements that are not covered by insurance! Or are they just trying to make negative comments? Surely they are not that stupid, so it must be the negativity kicking in!

Membrane Fluidizer Cocktail:

1 C. guava, red grapefruit or watermelon juice (rich source of lycopene)
1/2 to 1 Tb good quality refrigerated high lignan flaxseed oil
1 Tb high quality Lecithin

Blend or shake well.

I wonder if it matters whether you get all these ingredients at the same time... I have all of them every day all spring, summer and fall but not necessarily at the same time of day. I remember this now from last year and said that I was going to freeze watermelon juice during the summer so we could have in the winter months. This is a good reminder!

I make mine with grape juice or a mixture of pineapple/grapefruit juice. (DH and I both do this with Uridine in the AM and were told we could use any of our compliant juices) Sometimes I add lemon juice.

I prepare it the night before and refrigerate.  Next day, with a few shakes, I find everything perfectly
blended.

Guess it's time to go back and buy flaxseed oil again.  I don't know anything about uridine.  Guess I'll have to Google that.  I wonder if it would be OK to add the Trehalose to that.  I usually have that in the morning with grapefruit juice.

Dr. D'Adamo recommends taking Trehalose an hour away from green tea, coffee, curcumin or quercetin.  Otherwise, don't worry about when you take it.  :)
