;)Well…I just eat increased amounts of food and oil.  I eat more often every 2 hours but it seems my stomach never rests from digesting food.  It has to work all the time.
Also, I eat eggs 2 or 3 times per week and  5 oz. of chicken once a week (I make myself eat this but am not happy about it… my husband tries to make me feel better by telling me I can always go back to being totally vegetarian after I gain weight).  Still though, I compare between chicken and soybean.  Chicken only has 2 stars in optimum health while soybean has 4 stars. From here on I desire no more chicken for me, plus Type A’s should be vegetarian any way.
I try to consume foods that has omega 3 such as pinto bean, flaxseed oil and flaxseeds.  Only Pinto beans and soybeans have omega 3.  Also, Grape leaves canned, seaweed dried spirulina , seaweed wakame, Radish sprouts, freeze dried Leeks , yellow Onion sautéed, Spinach, broccoli, raw Kale, raw Arugula and Cauliflower.  All of these and much more have omega 3.
Pinto bean. It is a BENEFICIAL for Type A secretor and rich in antioxidant flavonoids.
•     This food can be a significant source of folate (294.12 mcgs per 1 cup .)
•     This food can be a significant source of potassium (800.28 mgs per 1 cup .)

I still follow like I mentioned about in the website before that and eat them between 6am-2 pm (only vegetable with Protein and 2 pm-5 pm only vegetable with Carbohydrate time. At 8 pm only fruit).

So I feel better and my stomach flat the next day.  My lips are also a healthy red.  I mean it seems like my stomach digests better. If I eat mixed foods such as Protein , carbohydrate and  fruit together, my stomach bloats the next day, my lips become dark colored and uncomfortable. Also, when I wake up before eating anything I check my PH level.  Usually it’s at level  7 and up which is sooo good.
Oh I take wheat grass juice about 1 table spoon twice a week.

Chicken cooked :
The good: This food is low in Sodium. It is also a good source of Vitamin B6 and Phosphorus, and a very good source of Protein, Niacin and Selenium.

The bad: This food is high in Cholesterol.

Soybean cooked:
The good: This food is very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin K, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Copper, and a very good source of Protein and Manganese.

Okay bye bye for now, time for my health dinner. :D

Ground flaxseeds and ground chia seeds have way more Omega 3 fatty acids than do pinto beans.  Plus they offer good proteins as well.

  :DHi Victoria,
You are right.  Also, I heard about if eat chai seed make sure to soak in water first because it absorbs a lot.  It’s better to have it absorb water before you take it than to take it first and have to drink a lot of water.  I try to put 1 table spoon of Chai seed in 1 8 oz glass of water.  After 20 minutes it will fill the glass.

Hi wanthanee, have you heard of chia fresca? Growing up on the Texas/Mexico border, it was a regular summertime drink for us (of course, not knowing any better at the time, my buddies and I called it Texas lemonade). To make it by the glass, in 10-12 ounces of cold water, add the juice of one lemon (i.e., three tablespoons or so of juice), two teaspoons of a compliant sweetener (or equivalent if using stevia) and a tablespoon or so of raw chia seed. You make the lemonade portion of the drink first, and then stir in the chia seeds. Let the chia seeds soak in the lemonade for at least 20 minutes. During this time, stir the drink occasionally. The chia seeds will become gelatinous and disperse throughout the drink. Serve with a slice of lemon and, too, if you have some fresh mint on hand, bruise a leaf and add it to the chia fresca right before you drink it. Good stuff! (drool)

P.S. Alternately, I've made chia fresca with sparkling water (such as Antipodes or Gerolsteiner) and it's pretty good, as well. You can also completely replace the lemon with lime or go half-and-half.

Congrats on the weight gain!

Don't worry about eating chicken. Dr D never said that A's "should be vegetarian." He said that, of the 4 types, only As could really thrive on vegetarian diets- the other 3 types are much more likely to fare poorly without meat. But not all type A individuals do well on meatless diets; some need more protein than others.

Don't worry about the cholesterol either. Recent research hasn't found much connection between dietary cholesterol and cholesterol levels in the blood. If you eat zero cholesterol, your body will make some. Older nutritional research though there was a connection, and some of the dietary advice out there still reflects that.

Trust Dr D on this. If you eat the amount and types of meat that he reccomends for your type, you don't need to worry about cholesterol or saturated fats or anything else the "one size fits all" nutritional reccomendations might focus on.

It sounds like youv'e already gotten the information you need to gain weight- so keep on doing what's working!

I struggle with worrying about these things too.  It doesn't help you eat better.  The constant harping on Cholesterol that doctors do, and the tv and whatever else is to get you to buy Lipitor.  IMHO.  Everything I've read says it's a much more complex issue than just keeping it low.  Some people have low cholesterol and end up with heart attacks.   I do hear that the ratios seem to be rather important.  I don't know.  But all I know is that when I worry about it, I don't want to eat like I should.

And for what it's worth, my cholesterol dropped 40 points after being on this system.  I'm going to have it rechecked again soon to see if I've kept that up or not.  Because I have been eating more meat also.  Mine is high, but my ratios are always really good.  I always have real high HDL's.  So my doctor tells me not to worry about it.

Worry is taken out of life when on BTD..

No worry about needing supplements touted by every email, or tv market..

No worries about buying Health food store sups either, they sell them to supplement their income..

Buy all sups from NAP and money guarantee goes with it, and it will never make you feel as if it did not help in some way.. These factors save you much money worry and concern about keeping up with things..

Oh yes, it took me around and about to get the correct answer regarding my headaches .. but in the end I found the solution.. Lucky for me, My doctor supports all that I do with what he knows.. then together we agree .. nice.

as for cholesterol.. so much depends on how much the wrong foods can inflame the tissue within, rather eat what I know to be healthy amounts and healthy foods for your type and all will be ok.. may take a while, but the mind is a powerful tool, it allows you to teach YOU!

Fear is the worst worry of all, it is insidious, it is deeply felt and unless you think of it, the cure for fear is hard to come by... but working on all the old fears is most gratifying.. and takes so little.. just:

close your eyes and ask your mind to please release one of many fears, it will tell you near instantly what it is, (thank your mind for that info) and then, search in the body place where you felt the insult then .. it is this connection that is holding back the healing, one item, one insult, one tragic mistaken piece of info, or mistaken wording, generational mis-alignments about what you know today as the adult in the room... whatever..change that UNDERSTANDING with what you as the adult today know as truth and with that create new possibilities.. : Patient heal they self!
