BTD Forums  /  Eat Right 4 Your Type  /  Coffee Enemas with Type O's

I am trying to get feedback and information from blood type O people who have used coffee enemas despite the avoid status on coffee for O's. I have found drinking coffee to not work for me and I always end up crashing and all emotionally whacked out when I drink it for stretches of work. But I am curious about the coffee enemas because apparently from the research I have done doing the enemas helps to detoxify/regenerate the liver and does not affect the adrenals and body the same way drinking it does here:

Do any of you fellow blood type O's have any experience, feedback or thoughts about this?

Thank you for your time and consideration!

If you are talking about 'coffee' that is specific for this purpose I am all for it..

If you are talking about low enemas, I might be for it,

If you are doing it for some specific need to clean out the colon I am in favor.

I had done calemas whit the the idea going all the way over to the other side where the appendix is.. and it was working just fine.. to totally get rid of all the black under the eye and recuperate from Pneumonia.

I followed the Dr. Bernard Jensen and loved every aspect of it save one, it takes time.. but it works..

If I had to decide for 'general' people to go the routine of daily enemas, to help clear out digested fecal matter, I would advise to start by just doing them low, rather then high enemas.
Get the hang of it and then consider doing what doctor Jensen called Calemas.. Water/gravity in and out ..

I think if I had to deal with Lyme issues - one parasite at a time, I would do low enemas daily get eggs and bugs out.. and allow a cleaner colon to recuperate overnight..  no matter the blood type.  It takes strength and dedication and time..

for more info, pm me..

Lola.  The question of coffee :.. There is a 'coffee' specific for the purpose of colon cleanses/enemas, but it will not give you a kick as drinking does.. a whole different purpose.

Calemas are done at home, water in and out GENTLY done by gravity.  Learning all about them is important YES. Dr. B. Jensen wrote a great book about it.

Colonics are done by professionals who do them for you, using machinery.

ABOUT COFFEE for O's.. it is a difficult thing to live without it when one is habituated/used to it.  I have dealt with coffee/caffeine withdrawal for years.

It is NOT the caffeine that is avoid, you can get that in other places like green tea or chocolate, with lesser bad effects.  It is the BEANS that are avoid.

Recently I have found that Trehalose Complex from DR D. (see the other thread) has changed the 'desire' for caffeine.  A good thing worth trying IF you wish to get rid of the habit of drinking coffee - as it is avoid for O's..

It has for now, gotten rid of my 24 hour cycling of caffeine or stress energy driven headaches....

Enemas may be useful at first, to clean out the "old junk" from before starting this diet. Not everybody will need this,  but some will benefit. However, once your'e "eating clean" there should be no more need for enemas. Enemas can wash out "good  germs" along with the bad, so you need to work on rebuilding healthy gut flora after having one done. Once you've established healthy gut flora, you don't want to wash it all away and have to repeat your hard work!

I know I read a long thread about coffee enemas on this thread in the past. I beleive some said it made them very jittery. Try doing a search for the old threads (the search feature defaults to "30 days old and newer" so be sure to  change that before clicking to search.)

That would have been me  ;D
Had the coffee enema as part of an bowel investigation on recommendation of a doc that specialised in bowel disorders.

Because I had been eating 'clean' aka BTD for years at that point, the enema 'made it all the way round' in the first sitting which was just as well, as I would not do it ever again!!

Ended up in the car for two hours, just sitting because my hands were shaking so much and my head was spinning so much that I was afraid to drive!

BTW- at the time I was a rep on the road doing 30000 miles/ year- so I can safely say that I was/ am a very confident driver and not prone to anxiety attacks because of driving  ;)

My personal opinion is that both enemas and colonic irrigation are fine if done either by a professional or an amateur who knows about the bowel and not done too often.

I do not think that having coffee or most foreign things deep in the intestine is a good idea at all for O's at least i have only used distilled water so far.

I think if you are a clean eater it is not necessary but if you have ever eaten avoids or drank a lot of alcohol then i actually think you need to clean out the intestines. I am also now a big believer in doing liver and gallbladder flushes following a strict procedure over a week and then repeating several times.
